So often in our world today the elderly are viewed, sometimes by the elderly themselves, as a burden. In this webinar timed to coincide with the annual World Grandparents Day we will hear from a variety of perspectives on how aging can be a gift for the enrichment of all. We will hear a personal testimony from Thom Hartmann, an elderly man with a rich spiritual life. In addition, Fr. Ron Witherup and Noreen McInnes will speak about their work on aging. Fr. Ron will explore what Scripture and the teachings of Pope Francis have to say about the topic, and Noreen will speak from her personal experience of accompanying her father in the last years of his life.
