An Episcopal priest and director of the Center for Spiritual Imagination in New York. He is a leading voice in the renewal of Christian contemplative spirituality, and in the New Monastic movement. Adam is co-author of two books and author of Let Your Heartbreak Be Your Guide: Lessons in Engaged Contemplation. He lives with his wife, Kaira Jewel Lingo, a Buddhist teacher and former nun in the community of Thich Nhat Hanh. Together they lead The Buddhist-Christian Community for Meditation and Action.
